I waited to do this review until I had my teeth cleaning appointment. My hygienist told me that my gums did not bleed at all when she tested them. I have spent two years working on getting my teeth back in good health. I get my teeth cleaned every 4 months and this is the first time I have had no bleeding on my gums. I will say that this flosser did not really tackle the tarter buildup. Nothing really helps it. I use the Phillips Sonicare electric toothbrush first and I still use a flossing pick and a small dental brush between my teeth, then I use the Waterpulse Water Flosser. I feel that it is most helpful to my gums more than anything else.

I guess it took getting braces to finally order a Waterpulse.and boy am I glad I did.

I have been using the traditional "string flossing" method for years and thought that nothing could work as well as the little string on a piece of plastic but after getting braces on both top and bottom teeth I realized I could not get a piece of gear in my mouth and between all the wire and teeth. I immediately ordered this Waterpic and have to say, it is one of the best purchases I have ever made. I absolutely love it. I'm just sorry it took getting braces to finally buy the Waterpic. It is unbelievable how clean you can get your teeth. Even after brushing and rinsing, sometimes there is some bits that rinse from your mouth. Unbelievable. I think Orthodontists should give a Waterpic to everyone who gets braces, or require you to buy one.

My dentist recommended a flosser - specifically Waterpulse. I found setup easy and instructions to be clear and straight forward. The devices is easy to use and effective in removing debris in hard to reach places. There are tools for a second person and others that my work well - but I only use the one. I often add a splash of mouthwash to the basin to refresh my palate. Worth the investment.

I have had many waterpulses in the past, I love this new version that allows a whitening tab to go right inside the handle and not the reservoir. Build quality is good, and it does its job well. Your mouth feels so fresh and clean after using a waterpulse, especially using these mint whitening tabs. Overall very happy with it, and their warranties are great.

I can’t be the only one , but for my whole life I’ve had issues with trying to floss just like how I have issues trying to stick to a diet and exercise. My gums chronically bled and I had to go to the dentist every 3 months for a cleaning. Within 2 days of using this , my breath was cleaner and my gums weren’t bleeding as much !!! It’s fun too and fast , which makes me stick to it. I can tell it works because I don’t bleed any more , I don’t see much plaque build up, and my breath isn’t awful when I wear a mask. I can’t recommend this enough. The black one is nice looking. It can get messy , but you can avoid this by turning it off before the machine turns off. I like to use warm water with it cause I have sensitive teeth.
